Moroccan Markets (Tamraght)

There is a market in Tamraght every Tuesday, to find local art, ceramics and fresh fruit. Just past the Mosque on street. Stop buy and grab a crepe, some juice, or some beautiful Moroccan jewelry as a keepsake.

The Grand Souk El Had (Agadir)

The Grand Souk El Had of Agadir is the biggest urban market in all of Morocco. A trip here is included in our package, where you have the chance to wander the stalls and immerse yourself in all of its glory. Built after a devastating earthquake in the 1960s, the Grand Souk is a mark of Moroccan resilience and pride.

Browse through carpets made in the Atlas mountains, and check out beauty treatments like argan oil and facial scrubs made by locals. The market is busiest on Sundays, but we will typically go on a Wednesday or Tuesday, to avoid the overwhelm of crowds.
